These terms govern your participation in the SlateLoft affiliate program. By signing up at /affiliate/signup you agree to the following.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, have a tax ID we can issue payment under (W-9 / W-8BEN on file before the first payout), and not be a current SlateLoft tenant referring yourself.
2. Attribution
Referrals are tracked on a first-touch, 60-day cookie basis. The first affiliate whose link a prospective tenant clicks is credited if they sign up within 60 days. Self-clearing browser sessions, ad-block, or deletion of cookies will void attribution.
3. Commission
- You earn a percentage of the net recurring subscription revenue SlateLoft collects from each referred tenant (default rate: 20%, adjustable per-affiliate by SlateLoft).
- Commission accrues only on successful, non-refunded Stripe charges.
- Commission is calculated on the net amount received by SlateLoft after Stripe fees.
- Commission does NOT accrue on tax, transaction fees, one-time setup charges, or hardware purchases.
4. 30-Day Clawback Hold
Each commission entry sits in a pending state for 30 days from the date of the underlying invoice. During this hold:
- If the customer requests a refund, charges back, or cancels, the corresponding commission is voided.
- After 30 days clear, the entry transitions to approved and becomes payable.
- Approval is automated; no action required from you.
5. Payouts
- Approved commissions are paid out on the 15th of each month for the prior month's earnings.
- Minimum payout threshold: $50 USD. Balances below this carry forward.
- Payment methods: PayPal, ACH (US only), or wire (≥$500). You set this in your affiliate profile.
- You are responsible for any fees charged by your payment provider.
- You are responsible for declaring affiliate income on your taxes; SlateLoft will issue a 1099-NEC for US affiliates earning ≥$600 in a calendar year.
6. Promotional Conduct
You may NOT:
- Bid on SlateLoft-branded keywords in paid search (Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.).
- Send unsolicited bulk email (spam) to promote SlateLoft.
- Misrepresent SlateLoft's pricing, features, security posture, or company facts.
- Use the SlateLoft trademark, logo, or screenshots in a way that implies SlateLoft has endorsed your business.
- Generate self-referrals, fraudulent signups, or use bots/incentivized traffic.
Violation may result in commission forfeiture and account termination.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time, for any reason, with written notice. On termination:
- Pending commissions older than 30 days will still be paid out at the next regular payout date.
- Commissions still in the 30-day clawback hold will be voided.
- Your tracking link will be disabled within 24 hours.
8. Changes to These Terms
SlateLoft may revise these terms with 30 days' notice (email to your registered address). Continued participation after notice constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Clark County, Nevada.
